Hi, I’m Rachel!
At 9 I started my equestrian adventure after going on a trail ride with my family. I quickly became hooked and began riding regularly. I started 4H early in my riding career and spent 8 years as a member and later a co-leader of the 4h horse project. This is where I really learned to love educating horses and teaching riders. I was also involved in pony club and obtained my C2 rating as I strived to learn more about horses and training. As I developed in my riding, I was a working student for both Hunter Jumper and Eventing programs. I am currently competing Intermediate with my mare Luna and I previously competed up to 1.15 jumpers.
I started Fox Equestrian 10 years ago at a private barn teaching beginner lessons. Starting riders from the beginning and watching them develop created a vision for the direction of our program. This program is designed to teach riders of all levels in a fun and safe environment. We emphasize growing and learning, and feel that having an understanding of all aspects of horse care is important in developing a strong horse-rider relationship and becoming a well-rounded rider.
